Distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) have emerged as transformative tools, promising to revolutionize various industries. However, realizing the full potential of DLTs requires overcoming challenges related to scalability, interoperability, and sustainability. This workshop aims to address these challenges by bringing together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to explore innovative solutions and envision the future of distributed ledgers within the broader context of evolving networks.
The motivation behind this workshop stems from the recognition that while DLTs offer decentralization and immutability, critical hurdles remain in achieving scalability for mass adoption, ensuring seamless interoperability between diverse blockchain networks, and developing sustainable solutions that align with environmental considerations. By addressing these challenges, the workshop seeks to propel the advancement and adoption of distributed ledger technologies.
The workshop welcomes submissions on a broad spectrum of topics related to distributed ledgers’ scalability, interoperability, and sustainability for the next generation networks. This includes original research ideas, innovative solutions, fundamental methodological studies, and use cases/application demonstrations, including but not limited to:
- Scalability Challenges
